The 2023-2024 Effective Speaking Team is now open for recruitment! The Effective Speaking Program is an Air-Cadet League-affiliated extracurricular that the 351 Silver Star Squadron offers to all cadets! This intensive eight-week program is designed to improve cadet's public speaking skills through the preparation and evaluation of speeches, in anticipation of the Squadron Effective Speaking Competition, where selected cadets are then chosen to represent 351 at the Wing level.
Meetings are to commence in January 2024, and the team will meet virtually (via Microsoft Teams) every Tuesday on a weekly basis from 1900 to 2100 hours. Attendance for all meeting sessions is expected.
