The cadets had a fabulous day yesterday touring MCAS Beaufort - working dogs, airport rescue and firefighting and aviation logistics and repair. This was followed by Marine Corps drill from our drill instructor - Staff Sergeant Freeman.
Today we toured the recruit depot and learned about the training schedule for all recruits. We then did the rappel tower and visited the chemical warfare group where cadets learned about the effects of tear gas on soldiers. The cadets are bowling his evening.
Tomorrow we are visiting Charleston.
RETURN UPDATE:
On Friday morning before we leave, the cadets will attempt the confidence course. As a result we may arrive a little later than 2am on Saturday morning.
